Argot ("the app", "we", "us") is a vocabulary puzzle game published by opieeipo. This policy explains what data the app and its service providers handle. Plain version: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not collect your name or contact details, and the game itself runs offline.
To keep the app free, Argot shows ads through Google AdMob, including personalized ads. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process device identifiers (such as an advertising identifier), IP address and the general location inferred from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data.
On iOS, the app asks your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using the advertising identifier; you can decline, and the app remains fully playable with non-personalized ads. In the EEA and UK, a consent message is shown before personalized ads, as required by GDPR.
This processing is governed by Google's policies: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
We may also use aggregate, non-identifying analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This data is summarized and is not used to identify you.
Argot is free and ad-supported and does not currently offer in-app purchases. If purchases are added in a future version, they would be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we would receive confirmation that a purchase occurred and the related entitlement, never your card number or full payment details.
Argot is a general-audience educational game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. Because we do not maintain accounts or first-party personal data, requests concerning advertising data are generally directed to Google as the processor (see the links above). You may also contact us and we will help where we can.
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data handled by Google and the app stores is retained and secured under their respective policies.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
