Argot

Merge words, learn languages

Argot turns vocabulary practice into a slide-and-merge puzzle you actually want to play. Match a word with its translation, merge it, and climb a ladder of harder words — picking up real vocabulary as you go.

How it works

It plays like the merge games you already know, with one twist: instead of matching numbers, you match a word with its translation. Slide “car” into “carro” and the pair climbs to a more advanced word. Match enough pairs to clear the level — and learn real vocabulary while you do it.

Seven languages, all free

Spanish · French · Indonesian · Japanese · Korean · Thai · Arabic

Asian and Arabic languages are shown in native script with romanization beneath, so you can read along from day one.

What makes it different

Learn from your language

Choose your mother tongue in Settings. Argot translates from the language you already know — English by default, or pick another and learn English itself.

Five levels per language

Work from everyday words up to advanced vocabulary, themed by topic — family, travel, work, science, and more.

Pick your difficulty

Easy, medium, or hard. Color-coded tiles make a valid match easy to spot, with quick rounds and simple swipe controls.
